AAC Seeks Presidential Villa Venue For Campaign Council Launch
Published on
In a letter to President Bola Tinubu, the African Action Congress (AAC) requested permission to hold the inauguration of its presidential campaign council on November 11 at Abuja, the country’s capital.
The national secretary of the party, Oshiokhue Ikpeminoghena, made this announcement on Wednesday.
Citing similar arrangements allegedly made for the All Progressives Congress (APC), the party also requested food, beverages, and other support for 5,000 participants from Nigeria and overseas.
Whether the president will approve the request remains uncertain, and it may be unlikely. The AAC could have considered another venue for its campaign council inauguration. For now, we’ll wait for the president’s response and see what unfolds. Stay tuned
