Temi Otedola Reveals Why PUSH GIFTS Are A Mother’s Rightful Reward

In a recent episode of The How Far Podcast, Temi Otedola and her husband, Mr. Eazi, had a humorous conversation about push gifts.

Mr. Eazi’s question about what he would receive after their baby was born sparked the conversation. After their child was born, he inquired as to what his own push gift would be.
Temi, on the other hand, saw no justification for that.

She smiled and answered:

“The child is the gift for you, you don’t need a gift.”

Mr Eazi wasn’t convinced and insisted that fathers should not be left out.

“I think I also need a gift,” he said, before questioning why dads shouldn’t receive push gifts as well.

Temi quickly reminded him why the tradition exists. “Then you should campaign for it because you haven’t even pushed anything, you didn’t even do any pushing,” she responded, making it clear that she believes push gifts are meant for mothers, who go through pregnancy and childbirth.

I completely agree with Temi. Mothers truly go through so much physically, emotionally, and mentally to bring their babies into the world. Recognizing their sacrifices and efforts with special gifts like PUSH GIFTS is not only thoughtful but also well-deserved.
